From three grandkids 
We weren't trying to build a product. We just wanted to take care of our grandparents. We saw our grandparents struggle in different ways due to a lack of care and support, even though our families were giving their all.
So, we started designing Sam as college students at Columbia University, carefully crafting and shipping the first version from our grandma's house in San Francisco.
Our grandparents loved us into this moment, and loved us into who we are today. We created Sam as a way of giving back to them, as a way of staying connected with them, and as a way of keeping them safe, happy, and healthy.

There is a completely free iOS app for the family to access wellness reports, view conversation summaries, set up reminders, and call/message your loved one. The app is not required to use Sam, but it makes the experience better for the whole family! The app is meant for your family, not for your senior. There is no Android app as it is currently in development.
